I. INTRODUCTION

I'm really excited to see that CPABUILD now has a forum! So I wanted to write a "Beginner Friendly" guide for you guys!

I didn't really know what to write as an Introduction for myself (or if I should

) but hopefully enough people know who I am who can vouch for me.

For this guide, I've taken bits & pieces from other guides of mine + added some more info that will hopefully be of great help to the CPABUILD community.

II. REQUIREMENTS

1. An Instagram bot that can auto-follow/unfollow or auto-like.
At the moment I can only recommend: This Bot. It includes more features that will make the whole process a lot easier to pull off. For example, an embedded browser that works with the proxies assigned to the accounts so you can login and edit your account manually. (Also has a bulk edit feature.)

Optional: If you want to run these bots on 24/7 (which you should). Then I recommend you use a VPS/SERVER with Windows Server (2012 or 2016):
For up to 50 accs use a T80 from here! If you're planning on using 100+ accounts get the T120!
You need to use a dedicated server if you're planning on using a lot of accounts. Otherwise, it will be really laggy! (I use a 32gb running 700 Accs with no prob)

2. IG accounts + Proxies + Pre-lander.
I recommend using this service which makes things way easier. Accounts come with proxy + pre-lander + the seller has lots of features that will make your work a lot easier!

Optional: If you use a cloaker you can skip the pre-landers. The cloaker allows you to link directly to your cpa page without getting into trouble. (Just make sure to host your cloaker file on a seperate .com domain. You can link to the same domain from up to 5 accounts at the same time. Make sure every account has a unique link by using goo.gl or bitly).

The proxies that come with the accounts are not HQ. So you might experience a lot of action blocks with these. If you do, I recommend getting at least Facebook proxies from here or if you can afford them: Premium "Instagram" proxies from here!

3. Niche.
The key to having longterm success with IG & CPA is using evergreen niches (niches that will always be profitable like weight loss, dating, etc) that work well on Instagram. I always recommend people start with the “Free Followers” niche. Don’t try to overcomplicate the process for yourself. Especially if you’re new to the game! Using other niches will require better targeting & copywriting skills. Which requires a lot of testing and research and if you just started you’re probably looking for ROI as soon as possible. So just go with the “Free Followers” niche and save yourself a headache (for now). Your focus should be on getting 1 account to make $0.3 per day at this point, and then scale up, and then spend time experimenting with other niches if you want.

4. A Template based on Niche.
Go to: https://members.cpabuild.com/templates
And scroll all the way at the bottom and search (before you do, click on the ID drop-down and change it to NAME) for a specific keyword related to your niche. (I'm taking the free followers niche as an example. So I'm searching for either: "Instagram" or "Followers".)

5. A Locker.
Now you need a locker for your template. I recommend you use this one: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=67

How to add template url to pre-landers
When adding you template url you need to create a unique bitly link for each pre-lander. (To avoid getting redflagged by IG bots)
To do this, Let say for example your link is this: https://cpbld.co/727h - Add #1,#2,#3,etc at the end of your url.
So you end up with url's like this:
https://cpbld.co/727h#1
https://cpbld.co/727h#2
https://cpbld.co/727h#3
etc...

Now you can create different bitly links for the same url.

The seller includes a manual on how to add/update your url on the pre-landers.

Why pre-landers are important: Pre-landers vs Cloakers part 1
In order to keep your accounts and domains safe from being banned on Instagram, you will have to use either a pre-lander or cloaker. Using a pre- lander can effect your earnings either for good or bad depending on your level of persuasion in your writing throughout you whole setup from beginning to end. If you’re not good in persuading people to take action: Use a cloaker. (Check part 2 in the Extra Tips later)

By the way;
If you want to build your own pre-lander: Use blogger (has fewer problems + the lowest ban-rates when used as a pre-lander from my experience) to make a pre-lander for in between your accounts and your templates.

III. ACCOUNTS SETUP & MANAGEMENT

First of all: I recommend you start off with 1 account! And learn everything using 1 account and let it run for 1-2 weeks before you start adding more accounts! This way you’ll save yourself from draining too much money during the research fase!

Your account should be very persuasive!
Profile picture: You can use Canva to create some of those! For example: Just put a clean Instagram logo like this with a bright geometry background like this together and you should be good!

P.S. Bright color backgrounds like Pink, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Red, etc work the best, because: these colors standout in the notifications area! Any of the colors you see in the image below should be good:

Username: Call to action related to your niche! For example: BoostFllwrs.

Now this will drive people to click your account and see:
Profile name: This is the bold text on the profile page. This should be a call to action again! And should be aimed at telling people what to do! A basic call to action for example is: Get this now! Think of a good call to action for your accounts!

Profile Description: Again this should another call to action with more detail
and use a lot of emoticons! Using emoticons like:

Link: Some people talk about putting the link in the bio area instead off the website area of the profile to keep your profile “safer”. But there’s really no need at all! If your link/pre-lander doesn’t have any red flags in it, you won’t have any problems at all. Shorten your links with goo.gl or bitly and put them
in the link are of your profile.

Now, you actually have 2 options when it comes to getting your IG accounts. You can also make them yourself and spend time building them up SLOWLY!

I personally buy Aged accounts, because it’s less headache. If you get well-aged accounts you won’t have any problems at all(if your setup is safe)! I only buy 2 years+ aged domains!

Most issues people have with this method is because of bad accounts. Either the supplier is bad or the accounts don’t have enough age. If you do decide to make your own accounts, do expect a lot of issues with bans, pva and burning your proxies until you manage to find a good way to warm them up.

Extra tip for fresh accounts:
Warm up your accounts before you profile them! Especially if you’re using fresh/ self-created accounts! Build them up with some activities (this can take weeks) before you add your link, otherwise, your account will get banned in 1-3 days. This is supposed to be a set and forget method in the long run, you don’t want to be having to replace accounts every day. If you need more advice on when to profile your fresh accounts, you should ask around on the forums. I never use fresh accounts. I did when I just got started but it ended up being a waste of money for me. Accounts would only stay alive for a few days and it just ended up costing me money for more pva and proxies. (By the way I consider accounts that have less than 2 years to fall under this category, at least for this method)

Important:
For beginners: Make sure you only run 1 set of activities! So either you only do follow/unfollow with your accounts or you only do likes with your accounts. The key here to keeping your accounts safe when it comes to activities is to keep them low per minute, hour and day.

Try not to have more than 3 activities per minute, 60 per hour and 1800 per day (1200 if your account is not older than 6 months) in total and you should be good! These are the settings I use and I never have any issues with my accounts and I’ve been running them for months now!

Also: Keep the delays between each activity above 28 secs!

If you’re doing the follow/unfollow method:
You can have your account set to follow/unfollow at the same time, so that you (for example) follow 400 per day and unfollow 400 per day so that your follower's amount will always show the same amount of following while your follower's count keeps rising. In the long-run this will make each of your accounts convert better.

OR

You can set your bot to follow for a certain amount and then unfollow for a certain amount.

Pro tip: Try to keep your following amount below 1000 always!

If you’re doing the like method. Make sure you like around 3 pictures per user so that you get the most attention.

For both methods target users that have less then 500 followers!

I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT POST ANY PICTURES! WHY? BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL REPORT ALL YOUR PICTURES AND GET YOUR ACCOUNTS BANNED REALLY FAST!

Keeping your setup safe should be your main focus if you plan to do this for a longtime. I REPEAT: Don’t use the same links on all your profiles! Some link shortener services allow you to shorten the same link over and over. But if you find one that doesn’t just add # + a number at the end of the url you want to shorten and this will allow you to shorten the same link without any probs.

Troubleshooting this part
If you do all of this correctly your accounts should have no problems a all. If you experience PVA issues. This either means that your activities are too much for the account or that your profile seems spammy, aka too many red flag keywords in your bio. If you don’t have any spammy keywords in your bio. Then you should look at your link/pre-lander. Try visiting your instagram account from a desktop browser or instagram app and clicking on the link in your bio. If you get an instagram warning page than you should change the words on your pre-lander. If you’re not using a pre-lander, then you should change the domain name of your landing page. There can also be an issue with the improper setup of a cloaker if you’re using one.

IV. TARGETING

IMPORTANT
This part will determine how much you make per day!
This part will determine how much you can scale up!

This part is crucial will be the part where you’ll spend most of your time research and tweaking once you have a proper setup going. I won’t be giving you my exact targets but I will be giving you all the keys to finding good targets (in my opinion). Good targeting is the difference between making $0.50 per account or making $0.00 per account every day.

Finding good targets

First thing you need to do is think about what kind of people would be interested in your niche. In this case we’re doing the “Free Followers” niche. So who would be hungry for followers? People who want more followers (that’s why we only follow, like people with less than 1000 followers). But now you have to get more specific. Think about Age, Occupation, Hobbies, Location etc. Don’t worry think about it for a while but for now, I’ll help you out.

TIP: In my opinion, teens between 12-16 are the best target for this niche. They believe anything and are pretty gullible at these ages. So now all you have to do is find 1 Instagram account that a lot of teens follow.

Take your time with this one. You just need to think of 1 person.
1st Hint: Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Sommer Ray are not good answers. Why? Because people that are following Rihanna, Kylie Jenner are usually thirsty guys who just want to see them nude.
2nd Hint: Think about games, shows, products that these people would be interested in and find the biggest account you can find related to that game, show or product.

Once you figured that out and you found 1 source. All you have to do is visit that account and click on the dropdown and collect a list of similar accounts:

Once you have your list. Go to: Socialblade[url] and check if the accounts are getting ... b]This bot also allows you to spread the follows/likes across all your accounts so your accounts don’t follow/ like the same people. But all of these settings will be available or not depending on which bot you’re using. But in theory, just following or liking followers of the targets is enough to get your earnings.

V. FAQ & TROUBLESHOOTING

Now if you run into any troubles I suggest you come to this thread with your questions and you can always ask me anything on the thread and I’ll help. Don’t spam my pm’s and skype asking me to mentor you. I don’t have that much time.

Here are the issues most people have!

Accounts keep getting banned but my links are not flagged:
If you bought accs: Either your activities are too high, you are using too many red flag keywords, the quality of your accounts is not good or your proxies are not good! You should check in that order!

If you build your accs: Most of the time: Either your activities are too high, your profiling to fast, you are using too many red flag keywords, your account
is nog aged enough (or your proxies are not good!)
You should check in that order!

Accounts keep getting banned and my links are flagged:
Either you’re using red flag keywords on your pre-lander or landing page or in your domains or using the same link in too many profiles!

Accounts keep getting limited and/or PVA:
Your activities per min/hour/day are too high!

My conversions are low and/or unstable :
Most of the time it’s: your targeting is bad. But sometimes it’s: the overall presentation of your setup: account -> prelander -> premium landing page -> locker is not good, your pre-lander/landing page is saturated/over-used.

I’m getting followers but no clicks:
Targeting is bad or your account presentation isn’t convincing enough!

I’m lots of clicks but no conversions:
Pre-lander/Landing page and/or cpa locker is not good or targeting is bad!

I’m not getting any traffic at all:
Very bad targeting and/or account presentation.

VI. EXTRA TIPS FOR HIGHER CONVERSIONS AND SUCCESS

Upgrading To Premium Landing Page:
Once you have some success and you get more confident with the method: I suggest you invest in getting a high converting premium landing page.

I recommend [ulr=https://www.marketing-rhino.com/premium ... templates/]Marketing Rhino[/url]. These landing pages are built to integrate well with your cpabuild lockers. (I also suggest you invest in getting a good Video-Proof made for your landing page. Either make one yourself or pay someone to do it for you!)

I also suggest you add a Countdown Timer[/url to your landing page.

Using Cloaker Instead Of Pre-Landers Part 2
Having a cloaker will give you the ability to not use a pre-lander in your setup (traffic gets sent directly to your url but ig bots/Ip's get sent to a different page so that your accounts stay safe) which can benefit your earnings a lot depending on how converting your template is. For a cloaker, I recommend you use AdvertSafe. Using a cloaker will bring extra costs. You'll need hosting + 1 .com domain(if you use cheap domains, you'll get banned) per 5 accounts(use the bitly trick mentioned before. The link in your IG bio's should always be unique).

Breakdown of what you can expect from your traffic when using:
Blogger Pre-lander: Let’s say you get 100 people click on your IG bio link per. These 100 people end up on your pre-lander. Depending on how convincing your blogger pre-lander is, 10-30 of those people decide to click through and go to your premium page. At this point, they’ve already shown a big interest so they probably will follow through on your premium page up until they see your CPA locker and convert!

Cloaker: Now let’s say 100 people click again. They go directly to your template. This is a larger audience and can end up being more profitable for you (because there’s no pre-lander, you don’t run the risk of losing traffic because of your pre-lander not being convincing enough).

As you can see both have their own pro's and con's. Pre-lander gives you better quality traffic which can result in better CVR, while Cloaker gives you more traffic which can result in more profits (or less) depending on the template.

On the next page name the file “Index” and download it and upload it to your .com domain.
Use “brandy” domain names that have nothing to do with your niche for your cloaking domains. Names like: legaloo.com, juicedacjoo.com, etc.

If you really can’t afford that many domains: But you still want to use a cloaker setup: Get 1 .com domain for cloaking and add the link to just 1 account (this will be the main account which doesn’t do anything, no following, no liking, etc). And point all your other accounts to this 1 account by adding a picture with the username of the main account inside the picture! (you can use canva for this.

But do note that this will drop the amount of traffic you get! But it will be a
cheaper setup while keeping your accounts safe!

**Keep your increase each day with setting below 50**
I personally increase by either “25” or “50”.

**Tip: Target users with a followratio between 0.5 and 1.5**
You’ll have to play around with this a bit to find your own sweetspot!

**Tip: Set the bot to Like 0-2 latest pictures after following**
ALWAYS KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT BELOW 1k FOLLOWINGS!

**TURN ON FOLLOW TOOL ONLY ON DAY 1**
The tools will switch & turn on and off by themselves!
**DO NOT RUN BOTH THESE TOOLS ON AT THE SAME TIME**

These are the settings i’m using for CPA since the latest IG updates and I recommend them for any newcomer to start with.

**The following advice is extremely based on personal experience & strategies**

Keep in mind tha IG has a red flag system. Depending on account age they can take more red flags:

These are the guidelines I follow:

Amount of red flag points accounts can take before ban/ghost/etc:
Accounts 0-30 Days Old = 5 points
Accounts 30-90 Days Old = 8 points
Accounts 90-180 Days Old = 10 points
180-360 Days Old = 20 points
360+ Days Old = 30+ points

Assigning a proxy to 1 account = 1 point
Following too often = 1 point (Recurring / week)
Unfollowing too often = 1 point (Recurring / week)
Liking too often = 0.5 points (Recurring / week)

Adding .com .org .net domains = 2 points
Adding the same .com .org .net domain to 2 accounts = 4 points/account +2/additional account
Adding .biz .bid .club domains = 5 points

Every time you phone verify an account = 1 point

Changing email address = 2 points
Changing phone number = 3 points/changed changed phone number
Changing username = 2 points/change

**Again this is advice based on personal experience & strategies**

IN CLOSING

This is a public guide so I can’t reveal to much about targeting. But I have to stress it: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!

So I’m going to recommend some things to you right here:
Don’t just think about the US. Think about EU & UK (maybe even ASIA)! Don’t follow people with too many followers. If you ever used Instagram, think about when you started out at what point did you want more followers? In the very beginning right? How many followers did you have those days? Not more than 500 followers I would assume. So don’t target people with more than 500 followers. (for example).

The point is, you need to really try and get in the heads of the people that you want to convert. Try to think like them.
